MaimboSoft Dating is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. By using the site, you represent that you are 18 or older and legally able to agree to these terms. Anyone under 18 is prohibited from using the service.
2. Platform only — no endorsement or guarantee
MaimboSoft Dating provides tools that allow users to create profiles, browse, search, message, and chat. MaimboSoft Dating, Site Creator & CEO Mark Robertson, and any owners, operators, administrators, contractors, affiliates, or agents (collectively, the “Site Parties”) do not endorse, recommend, certify, sponsor, guarantee, or make representations about any user or any information a user provides.
Unless the site expressly states otherwise, profiles are not background checked, identity verified, criminal-history screened, medically screened, financially verified, or independently investigated. A profile, photo, online indicator, location, age, relationship goal, message, or other statement may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, outdated, stolen, impersonated, or fraudulent.
3. You assume the risks of interacting with other users
You are solely responsible for deciding whether, when, where, and how to communicate with or meet another person. You assume the risks associated with online and in-person interactions, including fraud, deception, harassment, stalking, theft, assault, emotional harm, property damage, sexually transmitted infections, unwanted sexual conduct, identity theft, and other injury or loss.
Use reasonable precautions. Meet in a public place, tell someone you trust where you are going, arrange your own transportation, protect your home and work address, and leave any interaction that feels unsafe. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or law enforcement.
4. Romance scams and money
Never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, bank information, login credentials, or other valuable property to someone you have not independently verified. The Site Parties are not responsible for funds, property, information, or opportunities you voluntarily provide to another user. Requests for money, investments, emergency expenses, travel costs, or unusual payment methods are common warning signs of romance scams.

5. User-generated content and communications
Users are responsible for their own profiles, photos, messages, statements, conduct, and any content they upload or transmit. The Site Parties do not adopt or endorse user-generated content and cannot guarantee that all harmful, unlawful, offensive, deceptive, infringing, or inappropriate content will be detected, reviewed, removed, or prevented.
You may not use the service to threaten, harass, exploit, defraud, impersonate, solicit unlawful activity, publish another person’s private information without authority, distribute nonconsensual intimate imagery, or violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
6. Off-platform activity
The Site Parties have no control over communications or conduct that occurs outside MaimboSoft Dating, including phone calls, text messages, email, social media, third-party apps, financial transactions, travel, dates, cohabitation, sexual activity, employment, investments, purchases, gifts, or other personal dealings. You are responsible for your choices and for independently evaluating any person or proposal.
7. No promise of matches, relationships, or results
The service does not promise that you will receive messages, meet anyone, form a friendship or romantic relationship, find a compatible match, or achieve any particular result. Search results, online status, availability, compatibility, and user activity may change at any time.
8. Health, sexual activity, and personal decisions
MaimboSoft Dating does not provide medical, mental-health, sexual-health, legal, financial, or professional advice. Any decision involving sexual activity, contraception, sexually transmitted infection testing, personal safety, travel, finances, or other significant matters is yours. Seek qualified professional advice when appropriate.
9. Site availability, security, and data
The service may be changed, suspended, restricted, interrupted, unavailable, hacked, corrupted, or discontinued. No website can guarantee uninterrupted service, absolute security, permanent storage, or recovery of user content. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose and use a strong, unique password.
10. Moderation and account action
The Site Parties may, but are not obligated to, review content or activity and may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when reasonably believed necessary for safety, legal compliance, site integrity, or enforcement of these terms. Failure to take action in one situation does not waive the right to act later.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE AND ALL FEATURES, CONTENT, PROFILES, COMMUNICATIONS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, SAFETY, IDENTITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, OR RESULTS.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SITE PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF MONEY, PROFITS, DATA, REPUTATION, OPPORTUNITY, PROPERTY, OR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE, USER CONTENT, ANOTHER USER, OFF-PLATFORM ACTIVITY, OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
To the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded, any limitation applies only to the fullest extent the law permits. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
13. Release of user-to-user disputes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release the Site Parties from claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and damages arising out of disputes or interactions between you and another user, except to the extent a claim cannot legally be waived.
14. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Site Parties from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful conduct, your content, your violation of another person’s rights, or your material violation of these terms. This provision does not require indemnification where prohibited by law.
15. Third-party services and links
The site may contain links to or interact with third-party services. The Site Parties do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, apps, payment services, advertisements, communications, products, policies, security, or content. Use them at your own risk and review their terms and privacy practices.
16. Intellectual property and acceptable use
You may not copy, scrape, attack, reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, introduce malicious code into, or misuse the site or another user’s account. You may upload only content you have the right to use. You retain responsibility for ensuring your content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
17. Reports, unlawful content, and safety
If you believe content or conduct is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, exploitative, infringing, or involves nonconsensual intimate imagery, stop engaging with the user, preserve relevant evidence, use any available site reporting/contact method, and contact the appropriate authorities when warranted. The Site Parties may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or respond to valid legal process.
18. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the service, risks, or law change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by law; material changes may also be presented for renewed acceptance.
19. Severability and non-waivable rights
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it should be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions should remain in effect. Consumer, statutory, or other rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
20. Your responsibility to obtain legal advice
